Was it down to the Hangovers Lads?

On Saturday 15th December 2007 the last game of the year was a deep disappointment for the lads of "The Town" as they went down to a miserable two nil defeat to Ballbriggan. A depleted "A" Squad travelled to north Dublin all too aware of the difficulties facing them as many players shied-off due to the work Christmas parties and more so, due to Mark Farrell's 21st the night before in Weir's of Dún Laoghaire. Manager Japo Kelly has vowed to tighten up the pre-match discipline of the squad to ensure that games are not thrown away due to "player hangovers" in the New Year.
